Crockett & Jones was established in 1879 by Charles Jones and Sir James Crockett in England, Northampton. The English shoe makers have achieved a worldwide reputation for its fine quality boots and shoes for more than 130 years. Using the traditional Goodyear welted method, to create shoes of exceptional strength, durability and comfort in wear. To make a pair of Crockett & Jones requires a highly skilled workforce and takes up to 8 individual stages and more than 200 separate operations to complete a shoe. During the Second World War, Crockett & Jones manufactured over 1 million pairs for the armed forces. Now in its fifth generation of family ownership, the commitment to maintain the highest standards of traditional craftsmanship is still strong. We are proud to represent Crockett & Jones at Cavour in all three of our stores in Oslo, Norway (Vikaterrassen, Rådhuspassasjen & Sjølyst).
