Our Model 2 Grey Twill Suit Jacket features a soft shoulder, also known as a Spalla Camicia in Italian. Two button closure with straight flap pockets and a wide lapel. The high armholes allow for good range of motion, and when you put on the jacket it feels like a warm embrace. Made with a floating full canvas construction and hand made details throughout, such as the collar attachment, armhole, sleeve, lining, lapel buttonhole and pick stitching.
The Model 2 trousers have a contemporary slightly tapered shape. Medium rise waist that offers comfort and a flattering look. Featuring flat front and belt loops. Take note of the extra fabric along the leg seams if alterations are needed. Hand made details on the trousers include buttonholes, bar tacks and pick stitching.
With tailored garments, it is very common that we make small alterations to get the perfect fit. Measurments for all tailoring items
A: Sleeve length (cm) Measure from the highest point of the shoulder to the end of the sleeve.
B: Chest, circumference (cm) Lay the jacket flat. Measure from armpit to armpit. Multiply by 2.
C: Waist, circumference (cm) Lay the jacket flat. Take measurements across the closing button. Then multiply by 2.
D: Body length (cm) Lay the jacket with front faced down. Pop the collar so that the melton (felt) is visible beneath the collar. Start from the intersection of the back collar and measure down along the center back seam to the bottom hem of the jacket.
E: Shoulder width (cm) Lay the jacket face down. Measure from where the shoulder seam meets the sleeve on one side of the jacket straight across to where the shoulder seam and sleeve meet on the other side.
